Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was a student for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. Lennox survived off an allowance for students as well as working part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents were inferior to those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative paths she could take. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She left the band before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. The band she was in, was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they created The Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva that was out in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favourite soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera is a collection of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They would go on, through the 1980s to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992 with the album Diva. The album featured a variety of well-known songs, including walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It has covers of songs like The No MoreI love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale.
