JenniferJennifer has always dreamed of becoming a multi-tasking celebrity. In her youth, Jennifer enjoyed many kinds of music, mostly Afro-Caribbean styles like merengue salsa, and bachata. She also loved mainstream music , like hip-hop and R&B. She was a lover of music, but was also fascinated by the film industry. West Side Story, a musical composed by Rita Moreno (1961), was the most influential film for her. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer, besides being an entertainer and a Catholic schoolgirl, completed eight years of Holy Family Catholic Middle School in The Bronx. After completing the four-year course in the Bronx, she graduated from Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. Jennifer did well in sports during her time at school, and was a champion in the track and field as well as tennis. It was the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her residence for the majority of her adult life. Jennifer moved from her home to live with her parents around the age of 18. Lopez worked as a lawyer during this time and also took night dancing classes.
